Tempe Public Library is holding their annual One Tempe One Book campaign. Every year, they highlight the importance of one book. This year that book is From Here to Eternity by Caitlin Doughty which examines how cultures around the world honor and care for their dead. They host events all month long with topics similar to the featured book and have offered us the opportunity to discuss our work around facilitating donation and honoring donors.
We will be at Tempe Public Library on Saturday, Oct. 5! Our staff will host an educational session there, and we will have a registration table at the library that day. Please sign up now to join us!
Once you register for the event, you'll receive an event sheet at least 3 days prior to the event date with all the details on what to wear, where to meet, etc.
Are you able to pick up the promotional materials the week before the event? What about drop them off with DNA staff after the event? This would be a huge help! These logistical details make volunteer events possible. If you can help out in this way, let us know at volunteers@dnaz.org
