Join us for our December volunteer meeting! This meeting will be online and at our office in Tucson on Thursday Dec 5. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m., but if you're joining in-person you can arrive as early as 5:30 p.m. to enjoy some snacks and refreshments! In addition to our regular updates about the volunteer program and upcoming events, we will have two special guest speakers.
First, we will have a presentation from a member of our Donor Program Development (DPD) team. Every hospital in Arizona has at least one assigned DPD coordinator at DNA, and this position is vital to our relationships with hospitals. They are responsible for training hospital staff, providing donation materials and helping hospitals celebrate events like Donate Life Month.
We'll also hear from one of DNA's event coordinators about how DNA selects and prepares for signature events. They'll also tell us about our upcoming High School Challenge and how you can encourage schools to participate!
