Join us for our October volunteer meeting! This meeting will be at our Tempe office and online. Those joining us in person can arrive as early as 5:30p.m. for snacks and refreshments. The online meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
We'll have a fascinating presentation from one of our clinical staff members. Preservation staff ensure that organ and tissue from donor heroes are cared for at the highest standard to maximum their life saving gifts. We'll hear more about how they do that and how cutting edge technology is improving the process.
Julia Young will also join us once again as we make thank you cards for ADOT MVD and ATP staff members! Driver License Partners are responsible for over 95% of all donor registrations. Every year we ask volunteers to help us create personalize thank you cards for their staff members. If you're able to join us in person, we'll write thank you cards during the meeting. If you're joining us virtually, please listen to our guidelines and then feel free to mail us cards of your own!
Also, if you're joining us in person, we invite you to take part in our ofrenda. To celebrate Día de los Muertos, DNA annually sets up an ofrenda in our lobby. As an important part of our team, we invite volunteers to bring in anything they may want to display to honor their donor heroes. This may be a photo, a copy of a letter or anything else that you feel represents them. The ofrenda will be displayed in our lobby until early November.
