Back by popular demand - Kevin Sonoda, a former professor of public speaking, has kindly agreed to join us once again! You may remember him from our Speaker's Workshop in March. This additional training will do a deeper dive into topics like confronting fears, breathing techniques, knowing your audience, using humor, and more. There will be opportunities to practice public speaking and receive feedback.
This training will not focus on donation language and donation related speaking events specifically, as the Speaker's Workshop did.
It will instead will focus on overall public speaking skills that can be applied in a wide variety of situations, including volunteer events.

The public speaking training will take place on Saturday, June 29 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the DNA Rio Office in Tempe. Lunch will be provided. Due to the topic and length of the training, there is no virtual option to attend at this time. This training only has 15 slots. Sign up now to reserve your spot!
