The Donor Network of Arizona honors all donors and their legacies of generosity and kindness. One way that we do that is by inviting donor families to create a quilt square honoring their donor hero. These squares are then combined into donor quilts that we are able to display at our events and around the community to show others the lifesaving gift of donation and remember donor heroes. Quilts are displayed at MVDs, in hospital lobbies, at the Capitol, and in many more places across the state.
Every quarter we host a quilting pinning ceremony when a quilt is completed. Donor families that contributed to the quilt are invited to attend the ceremony and share the story of their donor hero. We are looking for volunteers to help us assist with the next quilt pinning on June 9th at our office in Tempe. Volunteers will help set up space, greet guests, assist during the ceremony, and assist with clean up. See a more detailed timeline below:
