In September 2025, Lynsey Nicole Stevens passed away from complications of a severe asthma attack, leaving many from our Green Valley community heartbroken. Lynsey was a favorite employee of all who frequented the Coyote Grill restaurant at San Ignacio Golf Club, cherished by coworkers and familiar faces alike. She was a devoted single mom, and her passing left her 10-year-old daughter, Marleigh, without her Mom. Lynsey’s story, shared in the Green Valley News and Sun touched many of our hearts, for although she lost her life she had thought of and continued to give to others. Lynsey was an organ donor, and her heart and liver saved the life of another single mom from right here in our own community. Now it is our turn to honor Lynsey’s legacy by coming together to support Marleigh.
OUR MISSION
Our Mission is to hold an annual golf tournament to fund an educational account for the benefit of Marleigh which will be available to her for a college or trade school after she graduates from high school.
Please join us for a meaningful day on the green as this special event celebrates Lynsey’s legacy and brings the community together in support of Marleigh and her future education. Participants, sponsors and donors alike are invited to contribute to the fund, ensuring Marleigh has resources for continuing her education and honoring Lynsey’s memory in a lasting way. It will be a memorable round of golf with hole-in-one prizes on select holes, a longest drive competition, a closest to the pin competition, and other fun things along the course! At the end of the round we will have lunch, a 50/50 drawing, and drawings for raffle prizes.
DNA will attend this golf tournament to host a registration table in honor of Lynsey's lifesaving legacy. Please sign up on Galaxy now to help us at that table! Also, if you are a golfer, consider registering for the tournament here.
