Help us celebrate another important type of donation - blood donation! Organ and tissue transplants are not possible without blood donations. This is an annual event to help rebuild blood supplies after the holiday - the lowest week of the winter for blood donations! We'll be there to thank blood donors for saving lives, and tell them that they can save even more lives in the future by registering as organ and tissue donors.
This event is indoors on Sunday, July 6 at the Tempe Center for the Arts. Vitalant will also provide lunch for all volunteers at the table. Also, if you would like to give blood while you are there, that's great! You can do a walk-in donation while you're there, or make an appointment here: https://www.vitalant.org/saveaz
In appreciation for donating, blood donors can receive:
- A voucher for a complimentary specific-day ticket to the 2026 WM Phoenix Open
- A voucher for a one-day gate entry to the Arizona Renaissance Festival
- A voucher for an extra-large one-topping slice of pizza from Streets of New York
- A $15 Rewards gift card AND a mystery gift! (Donor Rewards program opt-in required.)
Once you register for the event, you'll receive an event sheet at least 3 days prior to the event date with all the details on what to wear, where to meet, etc.
Are you able to pick up the promotional materials the week before the event? What about drop them off with DNA staff after the event? This would be a huge help! These logistical details make volunteer events possible. If you can help out in this way, let us know at volunteers@dnaz.org
