Back by popular demand - Kevin Sonoda, a former professor of public speaking, has kindly agreed to join us once again! You may remember him from our these workshops last year. This additional training will focus on development of presentations and how to adjust to audience, goal, and time. It is open to all volunteers, whether you've spoken with DNA before or are just starting to think about it. We will also review thoughtful donation language and our most common speaking events. There will be opportunities to practice public speaking and receive feedback.
This speakers workshop will take place on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the DNA Rio Office in Tempe. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Due to the topic and length of the training, there is no virtual option to attend at this time. This training only has 15 slots. Sign up now to reserve your spot!
Please contact volunteers@dnaz.org with any questions. We hope to see you there! Register on Galaxy to let us know if you're coming.
