Volunteer: Tumamoc 10x

Join us for the Tumamoc 10x Challenge on March 14th, 2026! This unique endurance event invites participants to conquer the legendary Tumamoc Hill, once, twice, or even ten times in a single day, a test of both physical and mental resilience.
The Tumamoc 10x Challenge is an opportunity to push boundaries and stand with us in support of those on the journey to recovery and health. It is hosted by Gratitude and Grace, a foundation co-founded by some of our very own Donate Life Arizona volunteers, Kelly and Jaime Thrush, to help those undergoing transplant and struggling with addiction.

We will have a table to register both those participating in the challenge and others just visiting the park as organ and tissue donors! Sign up now on Galaxy to help us at the table.

Want to take on the challenge yourself? Awesome! A sign up sheet will be posted here soon. Volunteers are welcome to sign up for both; we expect to have enough help that day that volunteers can both work the table and participate in the challenge.

Once you register for the event, you'll receive an event sheet at least 3 days prior to the event date with all the details on what to wear, where to meet, etc.

Are you able to pick up the promotional materials the week before the event? What about drop them off with DNA staff after the event? This would be a huge help! These logistical details make volunteer events possible. If you can help out in this way, let us know at volunteers@dnaz.org
Can't make the exact shift time? Have other questions? Contact volunteers@dnaz.com with any questions or concerns.
Thank you for being a Donate Life / Done Vida AZ Volunteer!

Volunteer: Tucson Festival of Books

The Tucson Festival of Books arrives in March when the sun is beaming and desert wildflowers are blooming. This year they are back on the UA Mall on March 14 & 15.

Much of the activity -- book panels and special events where literacy lovers can come together, meet their favorite authors, and discover new bookish companies and resources -- takes place on the pedestrian-friendly, open-air University of Arizona Mall. Festival admission is free.

We will be there handing out our own book - Recipes of Remembrance. This cookbook is filled with recipes submitted from donor families to honor their loved ones and their gifts. Of course, we'll also be sharing donation information and registering donors at the table as well! All volunteers will receive a Recipes of Remembrance book to take home.

Once you register for the event, you'll receive an event sheet at least 3 days prior to the event date with all the details on what to wear, where to meet, etc.
